other wildlife. In the afternoon, you will take a relaxing boat trip on the River Nile, and here you
will have a chance to see crocodiles, hippos, and a range of rare birds. You will also see for
yourself the point where River Nile joins Lake Albert, one of the “major highlights” of this trip.

Falls National Park, where you have spectacular views of Murchison Falls along the Nile River.
Day 4: Transfer to Kibale National Park
Kibale National Park

After early morning breakfast, drive to Kibale National Park. The drive to Kibale National Park
will go through western Uganda's major cities, including Hoima, Kyenjojo, and Fort Portal. There
will be a scheduled stopover for lunch along the way.
Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Queen Elizabeth National Park

You will head to the Kibale forest immediately after breakfast to trek the chimpanzees in their
forest home. If you are lucky on the trek, you might encounter other different species of
monkeys in the Kibale forest. These include black and white colobus monkeys, olive baboons,
and red-tailed monkeys.
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park immediately after the chimpanzee trek. The drive to
Queen Elizabeth NP will go through the famous Fortal Portal crater lakes.
Day 6: Game drive and Boat cruise
Queen Elizabeth National Park

You will start the day with an early morning breakfast at the lodge. Afterward, we proceed to the
famed Kasenyi plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park to spot various species of wild animals.
Kasenyi plains dwell in the vast savannahs of the Albertine rift in Queen Elizabeth National
Park. It will be a morning full of adventure! Expect to encounter lions, herds of buffalos,
elephants, Uganda kobs, and bushbucks. While spotting the "Big Five" in the park is not
guaranteed, on a lucky day, you may site leopards to make it the "Big Four."
After lunch, join the Kazinga channel boat cruise for an afternoon of wild game viewing. You will
spot crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, and a wide range of bird species on the channel waters.
Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi via Ishasha
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
8h
On the way to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, we will drive through the Ishasha sector of
Queen Elizabeth National Park, popularly known for the tree climbing lions. Unlike their
counterparts at the Kasenyi plains, the lions at Ishasha have found a way to climb the fig trees
to enjoy the warm temperatures available in the park. While the sighting of the tree-climbing
lions is not 100% guaranteed, a stopover at Ishasha is worth a visit!
Day 8: Gorilla tracking
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
8h
You will head to the Bwindi National Park gate immediately after breakfast to get a briefing
about the gorilla trek. The national park guide will conduct the presentation covering what to

few to many hours, depending on how far the gorillas are inside the forest. After the gorilla
trekking, drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

This day we shall transfer to Entebbe with a planned stopover at the equator for souvenir
shopping, photography and have coffee. Later we shall proceed to Entebbe.
Day 12: Mabamba Swamp Shoebill Stork Tour, Drop-off at the airport
8h
The Mabamba wetland, located west of Entebbe, is one of the best and most convenient places
to encounter the elusive shoebill and a prime birding site. After a few minutes in a small canoe,
the papyrus reeds open up into a flat grassy wetland where shoebills are regularly sighted. The
shoebills are most relaxed in the morning when they stalk their main prey ( fish or frogs) though
they can be spotted all day. The shoebills may stand still for long periods awaiting the
movements of their prey and then suddenly strike with astonishing speed.
We shall take a boat tour across Lake Victoria, arriving at Mabamba by boat. The boat allows
you to see many birds that you may otherwise miss.
After the Mabamba trek, you will drive back to the guest house to prepare for your flight. In the
evening drop-off at Entebbe international airport & depart to your next destination.
