Kyanjin Ri

Kyanjin Ri is a prominent viewpoint in the Langtang Valley, located at an altitude of 4,773 meters (15,658 feet). It is a popular destination for trekkers in the Langtang region, offering one of the best panoramic views of the surrounding peaks, including Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa, Langtang II, and Gangchenpo. The trek to Kyanjin Ri typically starts from Kyanjin Gompa and takes about 4-5 hours to reach the summit. The trail is moderately challenging, making it an excellent option for acclimatization before continuing to higher altitudes in the Langtang Valley. Along the way, trekkers pass through lush forests, glaciers, and traditional Tibetan-style villages.
