    The highlight of the trip is the famous Jebel Shams Balcony Walk, one of Oman’s most scenic mountain hikes. The trail follows the edge of the dramatic canyon, offering spectacular views of towering cliffs, deep valleys, rugged mountains, and the traditional mountain villages below.

    Along the way, experience the natural beauty of Jebel Shams and have plenty of opportunities to stop for photographs and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The Balcony Walk is approximately 8.4 km (5.2 miles) round trip and generally takes around 4–5 hours, depending on the group’s pace and photo stops.
