4 - Day Classical Tour of Greece with Spanish Speaking Guide

Day 1: Athens - Epidaurus - Mycenae - Olympia

1. The Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus

   Departure from Athens through the Corinth canal (short stop). We will drive to Epidaurus and visit the ancient theater, world famous for its spectacular acoustics.
2. Archaeological Site Mycenae

   We will arrive at Nafplio (short stop) and through the Argos plain we will arrive at Mycenae. We will visit the archaeological site and the tomb of Agamemnon. In the afternoon (optional stop to buy souvenirs) departure to Olympia, birthplace of the Olympic Games. Overnight stay in Olympia.

Day 2: Olympia - Delphi

1. Archaeological Site of Olympia

   Visit the archaeological site and the Temple of Zeus, the temple of Hera, the altar of the Olympic flame, the stadium and the archaeological museum.
2. Charilaos Trikoupis Rio-Antirrio Bridge
   Pass by
   Departure via Patras (short stop) to Rio, crossing the bay by the Antirio bridge. We will pass through the city of Nafplio and from there, along the coastal road we will arrive at Delphi, formerly known as the navel of the world. In the afternoon visit the picturesque mountain village Arachova. Overnight stay in Delphi.

Day 3: Delphi - Kalambaka

1. Delphi Ancient Town

   Visit the archaeological site and the Delphi museum. Departure to Kalambaka via Central Greece (short stop in Lamía). Overnight stay in Kalambaka (a small city built at the foot of the majestic gray rocks, and crowned by the Metéora monasteries).

Day 4: Metéora - Athens

1. Meteora
   3h
   Departure in the morning to Metéora to visit the Byzantine Monasteries.
2. Leonidas Monument
   Pass by
   Return to Athens passing the heroic monument of Leonidas of Sparta in Thermopylae.

Pickup details

Free pick-up service is offered from selected hotels in central Athens approximately one hour prior to tour departure. The provider will send you an email before the tour date with details about the place and time of pickup.

• Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
• Suitable for all physical fitness levels
• To enter the monasteries, appropriate clothing is required. Ladies should not wear short skirts and should wear long sleeves. Men cannot wear shorts.
• Please note that a tourist accommodation tax will be applied, which must be paid directly at the hotel. The amounts are as follows: From April to October: - 4-star hotels: €10 per room and night. - 3-star hotels: €5 per room and night. From November to March: - 4-star hotels: €3 per room and night. - 3-star hotels: €1.50 per room and night.
