Qianmen Walking Street

Your guide will pick you up at the designated meeting point at Beijing Capital Airport, and you'll travel by air-conditioned coach to Qianmen Street. During the Qing Dynasty (around 1700 AD), Qianmen Street was Beijing's most bustling commercial district — today it remains one of the city's best-preserved hutong areas, lined with a wide variety of Chinese street snacks.

The Forbidden City is the world's best-preserved wooden royal palace complex. Once home to the imperial families of the Ming and Qing dynasties, it became known as the "Forbidden City." This tour includes admission tickets to the palace. After your guide has walked you through the highlights, the guided part of your tour ends at the Meridian Gate (the south entrance), where you are free to continue exploring this imperial palace at your own pace. Afterwards, you can make your own way back to Beijing Capital Airport — or treat yourself to an authentic Peking duck dinner before the day is done.

Please provide all of your passports number and name for Tickets of Forbidden City, we have to make a reservation advance, and skip the line at ticket windows.
Meeting point: in front of Starbucks on Level 2 (Arrivals Hall) of Terminal 3, Beijing Capital Airport, about 30 meters from Exit B (the only international arrivals exit).
The meeting point is at Beijing Capital Airport and the tour ends at the Forbidden City. After your visit, you will make your own way back to the airport; the metro is a convenient option.
Please do not bring large luggage — luggage storage is available inside the airport terminal.
For groups of more than 5 people, the departure time can be customized to suit your schedule (between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM).
Winters in Beijing can be quite cold. We can provide padded winter coats free of charge — please inform us in advance of the number of coats and sizes needed.
