Overview

Start in Lima, here have time to explore the city, then fly to Cusco, here visit the main highlights of the city, continue to explore the Sacred Valley of the Incas, go to Pisac, Ollantaytambo, Maras and Moray. After getting acclimatized, hike the Short Inca Trail, see impressive Inca ruins, go through the Sun Gate with unforgettable views of Machu Picchu!. The next day, explore Machu Picchu sites. Finally, return to Cusco and trek to Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain, famous because of its colorful stripes, here see llamas, alpacas, and amazing Andean landscapes.

Day 1: Arrival in Lima

Upon your arrival in Lima Airport, be welcomed by one of our representatives, who will take you to your hotel in Miraflores/San Isidro. You will have the remainder of the day free to relax/explore the city of Lima on your own.
A good idea is to explore the historic center of Lima, Spanish architecture, the 16th-century Cathedral. In the evening, visit a restaurant in Miraflores.
Day 2: Lima – Cusco & Cusco City Tour

After breakfast, we will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Cusco. Upon your arrival, you will be transferred by one of our representatives to your hotel.

Day 5: Short Inca Trail – Machu Picchu Town

Early in the morning, be transferred to the train station of Ollantaytambo to board the train till Km. 104, from here start the 06-hours hike to Machu Picchu, visiting Chachabamba, Wiñay Huayna and the Sun Gate, finally arrive in Machu Picchu town for the overnight.

Early in the morning, be picked up from your hotel and head to Quesiuno, the start point of the Trek (Stop for Breakfast), after a 3- hours hike reach the Rainbow Mountain! Take amazing pictures and then hike back and connect to your transfer back to Cusco (Stop for Lunch).
