Overview

Discover the cradle of Blanche Armagnac AOC, the armagnac that does not age in barrels. Created in Arton in 1985 under the brand name Fine Blanche®, Patrick de Montal demonstrates that the excellence of Armagnac depends on the know-how of the wine and that distillation brings out all the aromas of the wine. The Montal-Montesquiou family defends an innovative vision: Armagnac is not a brandy, it is part of the wine culture. This led the family to plant their vineyard in 1991 to raise their wine and their Armagnac. Everything, from the vine to the wine, from the wine to the Armagnac, must be made on the estate and in a way that best embodies Arton's terroir and know-how.

What to expect

We are inspired by our ancestor d'Artagnan to innovate in Armagnac with courage and panache. In conversion to biodynamic and permaculture, our domain pursues the ambition of repositioning the Côtes de Gascogne on the chessboard of wines. Our dry white, sweet, red and rosé wines, born on the land of Armagnac, reveal with finesse all the typicity of our terroir and redefine the canons of Côtes de Gascogne.

From the vineyard to the cellars, come and discover the secrets of their elaboration and follow our commitments as producers.

After a guided tour of the estate, come and taste the Arton signature during a commented aperitif of our 7 PGI wines.
