From lions and the elusive leopard to large herds of elephants, the park is also known for special species particular to the area, such as the grevy's zebra, gerenuk (deer), beisa (oryx) and the reticulated giraffe. For the remainder of the morning, one is able to relax by the pool or terrace, overlooking the river.
