Overview

The Bay of Banderas and the Mexican Pacific offer exceptional opportunities to observe marine wildlife in its natural environment. During the scenic boat journey, keep an eye out for dolphins, whales, giant manta rays, sea turtles, and tropical fish, depending on the season and sea conditions.

The itinerary includes approximately 40 minutes outside the Marietas Islands for sightseeing, birdwatching, and snorkeling, followed by approximately 2 hours at Majahuitas Beach. A BBQ lunch is served around noon, with juices and coffee available on board during the morning journey.

Please note that Hidden Beach (Playa del Amor) is not included in this tour.

What to expect

Explore the stunning Islas Marietas National Park on a scenic boat excursion from Puerto Vallarta. Cruise approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes from Puerto Mágico to the islands, enjoying views of the Pacific coast and keeping an eye out for marine wildlife along the way. Please note that Hidden Beach (Playa del Amor) is not included in this tour.

Spend approximately 40 minutes outside the Marietas Islands for sightseeing, birdwatching, and scheduled snorkeling, subject to sea conditions. Then cruise approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to Majahuitas Beach, where you’ll have approximately 2 hours to relax, enjoy a BBQ lunch served around noon, and enjoy the beach surroundings.

Juices and coffee are offered on board during the morning journey. After your time at Majahuitas, board the boat for the approximately 1-hour-30-minute return journey to Puerto Mágico. This experience combines scenic cruising, nature observation, snorkeling, and a relaxing beach visit.

Please be advised not to bring them to any of our tours. We cannot offer a refund or change of day for any guest to whom Federal Security has denied access.
  • This option is not suitable for cruise ship passengers due to time conflicts with our local schedule
  • There isn't a dock at any of the locations we visit in this trip so we jump off the boat and to get back on board we use small metal ladders.
  • We spend most of the duration of the trip on the boat, if you suffer from seasickness this might not be the best adventure for you, please contact one of our adventure advisors.
