Overview
Only 7 minutes from the port of Punat is the beautiful island of Košljun, where is a Franciscan monastery from 1480.
In addition to the monastery, you can visit four museums (historical, archaeological, maritime and island flora and fauna museum).
After visiting the monastery and museum, you can take a walk in the beautiful park around the island and visit the souvenir shop.
Košljun is especially interesting for families, but also for anyone who wants to learn about the culture, history and old customs of the island of Košljun and the island of Krk in general.
Dogs are allowed on the island, but not in the monastery and museums.
Swimming and coming in a swimsuit is prohibited.
