Begin an intriguing 7-day desert travel from Marrakech to Tangier, which aims to connect the lovely Marrakech with the enigmatic Tangier, as well as the Sahara Desert, the spiritual city of Fes, and the picturesque blue-painted city of Chefchaouen.
During the tour you will discover best of the High Atlas Mountains, Middle Atlas Mountains, and Rif Mountains are breathtaking. Each mountain range has its own distinct terrain, flora, and species.
Your own driver/guide will be with you at all times to assist you understand all Morocco has to offer.

What to expect
Day 1: DAY 1 :ARRIVE AT MARRAKECH AIRPORT

Today, we will meet you at the airport at your arrival time and take you to a lovely riad in Marrakech's ancient medina. After checking into the riad, you will be taken on a guided tour of Marrakech, Morocco's "Red City."

Your guide will make certain that you visit all of the historical and cultural landmarks, such as the Koutoubia Minaret, the Saadian tombs, the exquisite Palace of Bahia, and the Ben Youssef Coranic School. Finally, finish the morning by strolling through the medina alleys, where you can view all of the different artisans at work before arriving at the famed Jamaa El Fna Square.

Lunch at a restaurant near the plaza, followed by a visit to Gueliz, Marrakech's new city. Then you'll have time to roam around the square and be entertained by magicians, storytellers, teeth pullers, and food vendors. Overnight stay in a lovely riad with breakfast.
Day 2: DAY 2 : MARRAKECH - AIT BENHADDOU - DADES VALLEY

We will visit Berber villages and observe and learn about the production of Argan oil by Berber women in their cooperative. We will visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, Morocco's largest Kasbah and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Ouarzazate

We travel to Dades Gorge through Ouarzazate after lunch at the Kasbah. The city is known as the "Hollywood of Africa," and we will travel along the "Road of 1000 Kasbahs."

We come to a halt at "Kalaat M'Gouna." It is well-known for its annual rose festival, which takes place in May.

Day 3: DAY 3 : DADES VALLEY – TODRA GORGE – MERZOUGA

After breakfast, we will drive to Tinrghir and the Todra valley, taking in the panoramic vistas of the valley's historic mud Berber villages.

Today you will have approximately 1 hour to hike in Todra Valley and then walk beneath the 300 m high red cliff, where many rock climbers spend their time.
Merzouga

You will then proceed towards Merzouga. You will make photo stops along the journey and also stop at a location where people work to uncover fossils. You will arrive in Merzouga desert in the afternoon and ride your camels, accompanied by an expert camel-man, to explore what is hidden in the center of Morocco's highest sand dunes, enjoy the sunset, and spend the night at the camp with food, a drum party, and a camp fire.
Day 4: DAY 4 :MERZOUGA DESERT -ZIZ VALLEY - CEDAR FOREST - FES

Your camel guide will wake you up to see the sunrise, and after breakfast, you will leisurely camel-trek back to Merzouga, appreciating the stunning Erg Chebbi dunes, which change with the light as the day advances.

You'll travel to Fes via Errachidia, through the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved through volcanic rock, and to Midelt via the Tizi Ntalghamt pass, stopping in Zaida for a barbecue and a glass of mint tea.

Day 5: DAY 5 : EXPLORING FES

You will spend the entire morning exploring the Medina and its lanes, visiting the majority of the cultural and historical landmarks, including the famed Al Karaouine Mosque and University (the world's oldest), the Medrasa Bouanania, the Tanneries, and the Najjarine fountain.

We will take you beyond the Medina after lunch to see the Royal Palace entrance, go through the Jewish quarter "the Mellah," and then visit the pottery cooperative. In the afternoon, we will take you to one of the fortresses to enjoy an incredible panoramic view of the entire Medina of Fes. Accommodation for the night in the same riad.
Day 6: DAY 6 : FES - CHEFCHAOUEN
