The Coffee Tour El Diamante , Beneficio El Diamante COOPEATENAS RL. Click to open side panel for more information , located in the Bajo Cacao area of Atenas, Alajuela, is an authentic, educational coffee experience operated by the local agricultural cooperative. The tour is set directly on-site at their working industrial mill (beneficio), "El Diamante," offering visitors a transparent look at authentic, commercial-scale production rather than a staged tourist setup. The experience provides a comprehensive educational journey that tracks the entire life cycle of the coffee bean—guiding guests through the initial seed-planting nurseries, into the sustainable agricultural fields, and directly through the industrial sorting, pulping, and roasting facilities before concluding with a professional tasting.

The Crocs Skyway: A Modern Finale
Before returning to your ship, we make a sophisticated final stop at the brand-new The Crocs Skyway. This premier tourist complex offers an elevated aerial platform providing a safe and spectacular vantage point over the river’s wildlife.

During this 30-minute interlude, you can:
• Enjoy a refreshing iced coffee or a cold local beverage.

• Sample authentic local flavors at the snack bar or chocolatier.

Pickup details

PLEASE READ the following instructions regarding PICKUP TIME and MEETING LOCATION for your shore excursion. It is your responsibility to have this information clear for avoid any inconvenience the day of the tour and don´t miss your tour.

Tour Meeting Time: 8:00 AM or 30 Minutes After Ship Arrival. We operate all our tours accordingly with ship arrival. We know sometimes the ships run late. For this reason, we have our pickup 30 minutes after the ship arrival with first departure at 8:00 AM.

Meeting Places by arrival port: Main Entrance of the pier.

Puerto Limon. Please walk to the main exit of the pier. On the way to the main public street. Once in there you will see our guides holding a sign with your name.

For Puerto Caldera: The port authority offers a free shuttle bus service to the main entrance of the pier. Take it and meet our staff at the entrance of the terminal. Do not take the shuttle that goes to Puntarenas City. Just go the main gate.

We do not pick up INSIDE the pier. Do not stop at the local vendors inside the pier. Go straight to main gate of the terminal.
