Join me on a full-day trip from Munich to the beautiful lake Königssee and the Bavarian Alps. After pickup at your accommodation, relax in a comfy vehicle with cool drinks.
At Königssee, we enjoy a scenic 1.5-hour boat ride (round trip) past steep cliffs and alpine peaks. Along the way, you’ll hear stories about local history, traditions, and legends. We’ll spend a total of about 3 hours at the lake — with time for a peaceful lakeside lunch and plenty of unforgettable photo opportunities.
Then, get ready for a truly special experience: a 60-minute guided horseback ride through the Alpine foothills. Whether you’re a beginner, intermediate, or experienced rider, we’ll match you with a calm, well-trained horse to enjoy the stunning mountain scenery from the saddle. The full day trip starts in the morning, with pick up at your Munich accommodation. Step into a comfortable, air-conditioned private vehicle embarking on tour. Cool drinks and snacks will be waiting for you in a comfortable vehicle.
Pass by
Soon, we will reach Mount Irschenberg, the most stunning viewpoint you can experience from a German highway. This motorway route was constructed in the mid-1930s as a "panoramic motorway." These now unconventional paths were part of National Socialist propaganda: the beauty of the landscape was exploited by intentionally presenting it as a symbol of the "German Homeland."

A short time later, after another breathtaking view, we arrive at the largest lake in Bavaria, Lake Chiemsee.

As soon as we have arrived at the beautiful Koenigssee, we will first enjoy the wonderful landscape on a boat trip. While relaxing on the lake you will learn interesting background knowledge about the place and the surrounding region.
Pass by
Our boat will bring us to the famous St. Bartholomew's Island. There we will discover the historical St. Bartholomew's church, the beautiful surrounding area and stop for a delicious Bavarian lunch in a typical beer garden.

This horseback experience is designed as an interactive introduction to horses and includes getting to know the horse, basic grooming and preparation, and a relaxed ride. For the safety and well-being of both guests and horses, all rides are conducted at a walking pace and are accompanied by an experienced trainer. The experience is subject to horse availability, weather conditions, and safety requirements.
