Overview

Located at the base of the Mt. Macchapuchrre and Mardi Himal, Mardi Himal Trek is like no others. With the rocky terrain to the beautiful grasslands and the lush rhododendron forest, the amount of nature one can grace on this journey is immense. Also hailed as one of the most beautiful treks in all of the Eastern Himalayan region, Mardi Himal Trek has been increasingly popular.

Through the thick forests and the rocky trails, we move to the High Camp (3,600m). Trekking further we reach Mardi Himal Base camp (4,500m). From the base camp, the view of mountains is surreal. From the unique fishtail mountain – Mt. Macchapuchhre (6,993m) to the Annapurna ranges, the mountains look absolutely majestic, and that is worth a great picture.

What to expect

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

    Arrival in Kathmandu transfer to hotel preparation for trekking and overnight in Kathmandu. (1400m)
Day 2: Kathmandu to Pokhara
  1. Pokhara Lakeside
    Pass by
    Kathmandu to Pokhara by tourist bus and overnight in Pokhara (820m). approximately 6-7 hrs. drive.
Day 3: Pokhara to Deurali
  1. Pokhara
    Pass by
    Pokhara to Phedi by private transport around 40 minutes and trek to Pritam Deurali (2010m) approximately 5-6 hrs.
Day 4: Deurali to Low Camp
  1. Pass by
    Trek Pritam Deurali to Low Camp (2990m) approximately 5-6 hrs.
Day 5: Low Camp to High Camp
  1. Pass by
    Trek Low Camp to High Camp (3600m) approximately 5-6 hrs.
Day 6: High camp to View point and Low Camp
  1. Lwangghale
    Pass by
    Early morning hike uphill to view Point (4200m)- and back to High camp, and trek to Low camp (3050m)
Day 7: Low Camp to Sidhing and Pokhara
  1. Pass by
    Low Camp to Sidhing and drive to Pokhara.
Day 8: Pokhara to Kathmandu

    1 day
    Pokhara to Kathmandu (1336m) by tourist bus. approximately 6-7 hrs drive. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 9: Departure to International Airport
  1. Kathmandu
    Pass by
    Departure to international airport or if you have few days extra in Kathmandu you can relax, do shopping, sightseeing, etc.
