CITY TOUR: You’ll Wat Prom Roath ”Buddhist Monastery” 30 mins, then drive through the City to see the French Colonial Buildings, 15mins. You wander inside the Royal Gardens, see the Giant Buddha statues, Yama statue and the 12 Gian brown Army General statues of the Khmer Empire, 30 mins.

Royal Independence Gardens

The Royal Garden is popular with domestic and International Tourists. On the north of the garden is the largest colonial-style hotel built at the same time as the Royal garden during the French occupation (Raffles Grand d’Angkor Hotel). On the South of the Garden is the Royal Resident which located along the River bank.
Preah Ang Chek Preah Ang Chom Temple

The Preah Ang Chek Preah Ang Chorm shrine is a religious shrine. It is located within the compound of the Royal Residence where two statues referred to as Preah Ang Chek and Preah Ang Chorm are worshipped since 1982. The statues of Preah Ang Chek Preah Ang Chorm were both bronze statues rediscovered in 1950 in the forest around Angkor Thom by Angkor conservation officials. It is believed that the statue of Preah Ang Chek and Preah Ang Chorm were originally kept in the temple of Angkor Wat. According to the Institute of the Humanities and Social Sciences of the Royal Academy of Cambodia, Khmer king Ang Chan I or Chan Reachea who ascended the throne in the 16th century would have allowed the installation of the two bronze statues in Angkor Wat in honor of these two princesses, which were considered by then as bodhisattvas who received great honour and veneration. The statues were later lost as Angkor Wat was neglected.
Wat Preah Prom Rath

Spend time at Prom Rath Pagoda, the historical Buddhist temple complex with colorful pagodas on sizable grounds with gardens. It is the oldest Buddhist monastery in the Town. Here, your guide will teach you a little about the dominant religion in the Kingdom of Cambodia. Your local guide will take you to the Town’s best street food destination and meet the local chefs and street food culinary creators and your local guide will explain you about Cambodia's cuisines. You can try some of the authentic taste of Cambodian traditional food snacks such as ice cakes, roasted flogs, fried crickets, fried grasshoppers, many kinds of roasted Tonle Sap fresh water fish, barbecued meat on skewers; Khmer fried chickens, ducks eggs, barbecued corn. As you wander around, you might see fried spiders or roasted snakes. We also see many kinds of local seasoning fruit.
