Your adventure starts with a private pickup from Valencia. In just 45 minutes, you’ll arrive in the picturesque village of Chulilla. From here, you’ll step straight into a landscape of geological wonders and prehistoric secrets.
The first leg of your loop takes you to the Charco Azul. This tranquil mirror of water is framed by sheer vertical walls, offering one of the most serene views in the region. Continuing along the canyon floor, you’ll visit the site of ancient cave paintings, where your guide will share the history of the early inhabitants who called these canyons home thousands of years ago.
Ascend from the canyon floor to reach the impressive Loriguilla Reservoir. The scale of the dam contrasted with the rugged mountains provides a dramatic backdrop for a rest. As you circle back toward the village, you’ll follow the high trails of the Turia River, offering a bird's-eye perspective of the path you just traveled.
The highlight of the return journey is crossing the famous Hanging Bridges. These wooden walkways suspended high over the river offer a thrilling perspective of the 160-meter-deep canyon. It’s the perfect spot for photos before your return back to the village.
