Your journey begins with a scenic coach ride from Zurich through the picturesque Swiss countryside, passing rolling hills, quaint villages, and stunning alpine landscapes. Upon arrival in Interlaken, nestled between Lakes Thun and Brienz. Interlaken is a picturesque Swiss village nestled between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, with views of the iconic peaks of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau mountains. This charming town offers plenty to explore on a self-guided tour: stroll along the lively Höheweg promenade, lined with shops, cafes, and gardens, and take in the mountain views. For those seeking panoramic sights, head to the Harder Kulm viewpoint via funicular for sweeping views of the lakes and Alps. The area is perfect for leisurely lake walks, where you can capture the beauty of the turquoise waters, and if you're up for it, you can visit the Interlaken Castle or stop by local shops for Swiss chocolate and souvenirs.

The mighty Lütschine offers some of the best whitewater rafting in the Swiss Alps. Straight from the start below the Eiger north face, continuous class III-IV rapids surge down from the mountains and out into the Interlaken valley and the Lake of Brienz.
