Day 2: San Jose to Tortuguero National Park

Early in the morning we leave for the Tortuguero National Park, one of the most biologically diverse areas in Costa Rica. Breakfast in route. Later, we will make a boat trip of about 2 hours to get to our hotel. Tortuguero is one of the most internationally known parks for being one of the most important places for turtle nesting. Today we make exploratory visits sailing in special motorboats, crossing forests and jungles to admire its exotic flora and its mangroves. We will also visit the Green Turtle Museum where we will interactively learn about the spawning cycle of turtles, as well as about other wild species.

Today we will enjoy the Sky Tram, a cable car that rises through the treetops, and that will allow us to discover its secrets with our guide. We will continue with the Sky Walk, a perfect combination of suspended bridges and trails throughout the jungle. During the tour the little ones will have a camera in their helmet, which will allow us to take home a wonderful memory of our adventure.
