Essaouira Small Group Cultural Tour of Old Medina From Marrakech

   We'll depart from Marrakech at 8:00 am and make two stops. The first stop may or may not happen due to various factors, but you'll see goats climbing Argan trees if it does. Did you know that goats love Argan fruits? They only eat the pulp and discard the kernel, which the locals collect to make oil.
   
   The second stop is a network of cooperatives between Essaouira and Marrakech. Around 2000 women work here exclusively, providing them with paid employment and allowing them to achieve a certain level of independence. These cooperatives serve as a beacon of hope for female empowerment in the region.
2. Essaouira

   After reaching Essaouira, travellers will have around 5 hours to explore the old medina. Essaouira is a popular tourist destination due to its natural, historical, and cultural attractions. Its medina was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001, and it is a maze of alleys separating the districts and different souks. Despite its complexity, the souk is well-organized and offers a variety of products, such as clothing, spices, jewellery, olives, fruits, and vegetables.
3. Essaouira

   Experience the rich flavours of Moroccan cuisine by dining at restaurants that serve fresh catches of the day and typical dishes. Take a moment to relax on a shaded terrace and savour the delicious taste of the dishes.
   
   Make the most of your leisure time and immerse yourself in the beauty of the medina. Count the gates and admire the unique Cherifian and European styles in the doors. Let the charm of this ancient city captivate you and leave you with unforgettable memories.
4. Essaouira

   Tourists can also relax on deck chairs at the beach, enjoy a drink, or taste Moroccan specialities while soaking up the sun. Essaouira beach is one of the most beautiful in Morocco, with its golden sand and the swell of the waves. Visitors can admire the arabesques of the kitesurf sails in the blue sky and watch the surfers cross each other in a well-coordinated ballet.
   For the more athletic visitors, it is possible to take lessons or rent equipment for kitesurfing or surfing.
   The return from Essaouira is around 4:00 p.m.
