What to expect

  1. Stresa
    30m
Where the Borromean Gulf opens up, Stresa lies. The history of Stresa differs from that of the neighboring villages since in the eighteenth century some villas began to be built and then flanked by imposing hotels in a style that sometimes recalls the Liberty. at the time of elite tourism on a favorite of King Wurttemberg, the kings of England, elisabeth of saxony, artists and writers such as Dickens, Flaubert, Stendhal, Fogazzaro. In the parish church you can see a crucifixion attributed to Morazzone.
Embark on the motorboats of the Stresatours Associated Motorboat Consortium to start the visit of the Borromean Islands and reach the Isola dei Pescatori, our boats will make possible stops between the islands and the captain will indicate your stop.
  2. Isola dei Pescatori
    1h 30m
Isola dei Pescatori is the most picturesque of the islands, but owes its name to the activity of its inhabitants. Its charm is given by the archaic simplicity, by the pleasant whiteness of the houses and streets. In addition to the typical local craft shops on the island, it is possible to taste delicious lake fish dishes in the renowned restaurants and trattorias.
At the end of the visit of the Fishermen's Island you can take back the boats of C.M.A. to return to Stresa.
