Overview

Teresa cooking experiences Italy invites you to immerse yourself in an authentic Sicilian gastronomic and cultural experience.Visit the Point of Sale with a guide, it's not like visiting it independently, discover the traditions and learn to recognize the best fresh and preserved local products, and where they come from.Do the best tastings.
After visiting the Point of Sale, at Teresa's house, she cooks three family recipes, seasonal and different every day.
You can request vegetarian recipes or to cook your favorite Sicilian recipe or tiramisu, the national dessert.
Teresa offers you two locations to cook and enjoy your time: Via Isole Molucche (Villa) and Corso Gelone (apartment near Ortigia). If you need it, I'll organize private transport.In winter the lessons are in the city up to five participants, besides Teresa organizes a lesson at the Villa.

What to expect

Attention: From October 20th, for up to five guests, the cooking classes will be in the apartment at Corso Gelone 36, a 20-minute walk from Ortigia.
The day begins at the historic Point of Sale of Ortigia, where from 8:45 to 9:45 you will explore the stalls, the scents, and the local products.During the walk you will discover curiosities, typical ingredients, local traditions and small secrets of Sicilian cuisine, with tasting moments and information related to the daily life of the Point of Sale.
Subsequently, from 10:00 to 13:00, you will move to Teresa's house, where the cooking class begins.

At Teresa's house you will cook three recipes of Sicilian tradition, in a familiar and relaxed atmosphere, using fresh and seasonal ingredients.Request availability for your group on the days you see as unavailable.
