Overview

Explore “Old Japan” on a relaxed day trip to Narai-juku, a beautifully preserved Nakasendo post town, and enjoy a hands-on wasabi grating lunch at Daio Wasabi Farm.

Enjoy a guided walk plus free time in Narai-juku to explore the historic streets, take photos, and visit local shops or cafés when open. Then grate fresh wasabi for lunch and take a short stroll along the clear-water canals and iconic waterwheels.

This is not a rushed checklist tour — we keep the pace calm so you can enjoy the atmosphere and experience real freshly grated wasabi.

The tour is available year-round. In winter, some shops and cafés may be closed or operate shorter hours.
