Overview

We will enter the Mercadante Forest, an area of 1300 hectares in the Alta Murgia National Park between the territories of Cassano delle Murge and Altamura.
Walking along paths lined DA Aleppo pines and cypresses, we will reach the bottom of a karst blade in which a monumental centuries-old oak is hidden, after admiring it, we will take a break in the shade of large nuts near the ancient cistern of the Hermitage of St. Anthony, built in the sixteenth century.

On the way back, at the end of the excursion, there will be the opportunity to enjoy a delicious yogurt made from goat's milk in a cheese bar dedicated to cheese, immersed in the forest.
