AM: Your driver will pick you up from the hotel and take you to the park entrance. Once inside, our experienced safari driver will navigate through the dense jungle, seeking out leopards, sloth bears, elephants, and many other wildlife species, while you enjoy the park’s stunning natural beauty. The safari lasts approximately 4 hours. Afterwards, you’ll be dropped back at your hotel where your adventure began.
Your jeep driver will pick you up approximately one hour before the park’s opening time (depending on the location of your hotel). If you reserve your ticket online, the process will be quicker, allowing you to enter the park before the other jeeps. When your are submitting your details online, the jeep driver is considered as a local visitor, so their ticket must be included in your entrance permit—this costs only LKR 150 to 200. (the cost will show you on the page), And also, you need to submit the Jeep ticket when filling the online form, which is about 2 to 3 hundred LKR.
For pick-ups other than Tissamaharamaya, Yala, and Kataragama, there will be an additional cost for the return transfer: USD 60 per vehicle. Please pay that amount directly to the driver.
