What to expect

Day 1: Nairobi - Meru National Park

    Depart Nairobi early in the morning and head to Meru National Park a road safari that will take you about 5 hours. You will enjoy the beautiful sceneries en route such as views of snowcapped Mt Kenya. The road meanders through deep valleys especially after Embu town where you can make several stopovers for sightseeing.
    Lunch stopover in Meru or Maua town.
    Will be able to view several miraa plantations as well.

    Arrive at Murera gate around 3pm. Afternoon will be spent in Meru National Park tracking animals in the bushes.
Day 2: Meru National Park

    After breakfast we will spend the entire day in Meru National Park which was made famous through the story of Elsa the lioness of Born Free fame. She was raised and released by George & Joy Adamson in this region.

    Explore the area, enjoying memorable wildlife encounters on your guided game drives. See some of the smaller inhabitants of the bush.
    Enjoy the lush riverine forests, coursing rivers and in contrast the vast dry open plains dotted with baobabs. Meru is a totally unspoilt part of Kenya, revel in the remote and rugged atmosphere found here.
Day 3: Samburu National Reserve

    After breakfast we will depart Meru For a full day in Samburu National reserve,The whole day will be spent exploring this amazing game reserve, it gives you the refreshment of your mind as the park is not populated and not many people visits here, we have concentration of the Its home to the big five, Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Gerenuk, Reticulated Giraffe, Somali Ostrich, Gravy Zebra, Besia Oryx, Endangered Wild Dog as well as Pun cake Tortoise - Endangered. There are over 450 species of birds identified and aquatic species in the Waso Nyiro River including, vultures, kingfishers, marabous, bateleurs, guinea fowl, Somali ostriches and others. The whole day will be spent exploring the park for the whole day game drive.
Day 4: Samburu - Nairobi

    After breakfast we will a game drive enroute to nairobi. we will also have a short stopover at the Equator Marker where you will have a chance to cross both north and south hemisphere. We will later on drive to Nairobi where you will be dropped at your booked hotel.
