Alternatively, check out some of Aqaba’s sights, like Tala or Ayla Bay. Visit an intriguing old church near the city marina, and visit Aqaba Fort. The small (yet impressive) castle is said to have been built around the 16th century, when it was used as a pilgrimage stop for pilgrims making their way to Mecca. You may also choose an optional local cooking class or a visit of a handicraft center for a local art handmade experience based on your interest. (Contact us for options).
