Day 2: Amman Hotel - Amman Citadel, Roman Theater with Mosques – Seven Sleepers Cave – Amman Hotel (B, D) 75 KM

   Breakfast at the hotel. Tour the city, known anciently as Philadelphia: visit the city center, downtown with its Roman Theater, Citadel, traditional markets (souqs), churches, and mosques like King Abdullah Blue Mosque next to the Parliament. Then head to the new modern city with its residential neighborhood.
2. The Cave of the Seven Sleepers (Ashabul Kahf)

   Continue for a short drive to the east of Amman, where “Al-Rakim Cave” is located and where the Seven Sleepers stories took place. It is a story of a group of youths who hide inside a cave outside the city of Ephesus around 250 A.D. to escape religious persecution and emerge 300 years later. The cave was a part of a Byzantine graveyard. The entrance to the cemetery leads to a central hall branching out to three shrines with vaulted arch ceilings. There are seven stone graveyards in the eastern and western “Alkutin” front door decorated with engineering and plant ornaments.
3. Amman

Day 3: Amman Hotel - The Shrines (Maqamat) of Prophet Mohammad’s Companions at the Jordan Valley – Dead Sea Hotel (B, D) 220 KM

   After breakfast, complete your Islamic tour, and visit the “Sahaba Shrines” meaning (Maqamat) in Arabic, this visit is a must. “Sahaba” is the Arabic word for the companions of the Prophet Mohammad. The “Sahaba Shrines” sit on the hills of the Jordan Valley and belong to five of the companions.

2. Dead Sea Region

   Descent to the lowest place on earth and the desert of Moab, the Dead Sea, the world’s first natural spa. Free time to take a bath in its therapeutic saline waters, an unforgettable experience and to enjoy the hotel facilities: beach and pool. Use of the Spa at the client’s own expense. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 4: Dead Sea Hotel – Petra (Visit) – Amman Hotel (B, D) 455 KM

   Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Petra. Classic full-day visit of the Nabatean red rose city of Petra, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, carved out of rock over 2000 years ago. We will access the city through its entrance, a narrow gorge (Siq) of 1.2 kilometers from there we continue to reach the impressive monumental Treasury (El Khazneh) which was believed to hold countless treasures. The first view of the “Khazneh” is breathtaking.
2. The Royal Tombs

   Other monuments we can see are the Theatre, the Byzantine Church, and the Royal Tombs. Climbing up to the Monastery or the Altar of Sacrifice is on clients’ behalf. Optional visit of Petra Museum, if there is time.
3. Amman

   Return to the hotel in Amman. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Amman Hotel – Amman Queen Alia International Airport (B) 40 KM
