Discover the legendary rose-red city of Petra, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Your professional driver will meet you either at your hotel in Amman or directly at the airport arrival hall, holding a personalized sign for easy recognition. From there, enjoy a scenic 3-hour drive south through the breathtaking desert landscape of the Desert Highway. Upon arrival in Petra, you’ll begin your unforgettable exploration of the ancient Nabataean city unless otherwise specified in your selected option — carved entirely into rose-colored sandstone more than 2,000 years ago. Walk through the stunning Siq canyon, a narrow gorge that leads you to the awe-inspiring Treasury (Al-Khazneh), Petra’s most iconic monument. Continue to discover the Street of Facades, Royal Tombs, Theatre, and Colonnaded Street, with plenty of time to take photos and absorb the site’s magical atmosphere. After exploring Petra, relax on your return drive to Amman or Queen Alia Airport, arriving in the evening.
