Begin your journey to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, where you’ll take the eco-friendly shuttle bus to Tianzi Mountain and ride the cable car up for breathtaking views. Visit highlights including the Imperial Brush Peaks, Xihai Stone Forest, and Fairy Lady Presenting Flowers.
Continue to the lesser-known Laowuchang (Sky Garden), an undeveloped and peaceful area away from the crowds. Known for its stunning scenery, it is a favorite spot for photographers, especially at sunrise. Here, you’ll see the unique “Sky Field Garden,” a small patch of rice fields perched among the dramatic sandstone peaks and still farmed by local people.
