   One of the most emblematic sites of Tulum is its archaeological zone due to its privileged location on the shores of the Caribbean Sea and the excellent conservation of its buildings.
   
   The ruins of Tulum are some of the best preserved in the Peninsula. Most of the buildings date from the postclassic period of the Mayan civilization, around the years 1200 to 1450. The engravings and paintings that have been found explain that it was a place of worship and veneration of a supposed "God of Descent."

   30 minutes. Transfer from the archaeological site to the park.
   20 minutes. Explanation about the activity and security.
   Pass out shared ATV equipment and explain proper use and safety guidelines.
   45 minutes Trip in 4X4 ATVs Can-am 450 c.c. by dirt road.
   20 minutes. Time to change clothes and information about the activity, the caves and their importance.
   Hand out ATV equipment and explain proper use and safety guidelines.
   20 minutes. Guided tour inside the underground cavern and time to look around.
   45 minutes regional buffet lunch: grilled chicken, pulled pork, sautéed vegetables, mashed potatoes, guacamole, beans, rice, pasta, salad bar, corn chips, tortillas, hot sauces, dips, and sugar churros.
   Drinks: flavored drinks, purified water, and coffee.
   10 minutes. Time to view photos and get ready to go.
   Transfer to the hotel.
