You'll be picked up early from Nairobi and drive (~5–6 h) through the scenic Mombasa Road into Tsavo West National Park. Arriving in time for lunch, you'll check in at Ngulia Safari Lodge, perched dramatically on the Ngulia escarpment overlooking the Rhino Sanctuary.After lunch, enjoy your first game drive—an excellent introduction to the park’s wildlife, including elephants, lions, buffalo, and giraffe. Return to the lodge for dinner, with chances to spot wildlife at the floodlit waterhole by the dining area

Rise early for a morning game drive through Tsavo West’s diverse habitats—cliffs, lava fields, and rivers—seeking big cats, rhinos, and more . After returning for breakfast, relax at the lodge or take optional activities like guided nature walks, a dip in the pool, or a visit to Mzima Springs and the Shetani Lava Flow. In the late afternoon, head to the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, a protected enclosure housing black rhinos, for another chance to view these rare animals in a secure setting.Evening at leisure back at the lodge.
