Overview

It's high wildlife density within a compact park, allowing travelers to experience an authentic safari in just one day without long hours of driving between sightings. Unlike larger reserves, Lake Nakuru offers one of the best chances in Kenya to see both black and white rhinos alongside diverse birdlife, including its famous flamingo populations. The tour also combines efficient logistics with rich scenery, featuring the dramatic Great Rift Valley views en route and multiple game drives that maximize wildlife encounters. With a professional guide providing insights throughout the journey and flexible options such as private vehicles or small-group tours, this experience delivers a well-balanced mix of convenience, education, and immersive wildlife viewing—ideal for travelers with limited time who still want a rewarding safari experience.

What to expect

  1. Lake Nakuru National Park
    8h · Admission ticket included
The driver will pick you at 7:00 AM and proceed to Lake Nakuru National park which is a small (it varies from 5 to 30 square kilometers) shallow alkaline lake on the edge of the town of Nakuru lies about 160 kilometers north of Nairobi. The lake is world famous as the location of the greatest bird spectacle on earth - myriads of fuschia pink flamingos whose numbers are legion, often more than a million maybe two. The park now has more than 25 rhinos, one of the largest concentrations in the country, so the chances of spotting these survivors are good. There are also a number of Rothschild's giraffe, again translocated for safety from western Kenya beginning in 1977. Waterbuck are very common and both the Kenya species are found here. Among the predators are lion and leopard, the latter being seen much more frequently in recent times
