Overview

This is a tour for those looking to be more intimate. It’s ideal for families or romantic getaways. The possibilities are endless, and we do our very best to provide you with an experience you will never forget.

Whether it’s to celebrate a special occasion or purely to have the attention all to yourselves, there is no better way to explore the island than with a passionate guide and a Land Rover or a Open Portuguese UMM.

We are absolutely flexible. We can do walks, visit the forests and mountains, swim in rock pools, try local bars and restaurants, and much more.

We have the vehicle, driving skills and creativity to take you to places on the island you never thought existed!

Pickup details

For hotels located at the far ends of the island, we only offer pick-up when the tour is taking place on the same side of the island.

For example, pick-up from the Hyatt Ziva Madeira is available for East Tours, but not for West Tours. Likewise, pick-up from the Saccharum Hotel is available for West Tours, but not for East Tours.

The reason is that crossing the island for pick-up and drop-off would take around 3 hours in total, meaning a significant part of the tour would be spent simply travelling to and from the hotel.

If you are staying on the opposite side from the tour you have chosen, you can take a taxi or Uber and meet us at our meeting point in Funchal:

Church Street, São Martinho
9000-149 Funchal
