Overview
Visit the 1000 years old Pannonhalma Archabbey, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Pannonhalma Abbey became a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1996, the 1000nd anniversary of its foundation.In Pannonhalma you can see the old gothic chatedral, the cloister, and the breathtaking library with 300 000 books, codexes and prints. The archabbey has got its own lavander garden, herbs garden, winery and brewery as well. All this in a splendid natural surrounding, a nationak park. Then you can have a walk in Györ, Hungary's third largest city. The beautiful old town is packed with baroque houses, a spelndid and historic chatedral, visited even by Pope Saint John Paul II, the cobblestone streets, amazing churches, shops and many more interesting things!
