Overview
This tour covers some very important attractions in Kandy city. The city lies in the midst of hills in the Kandy plateau, which crosses an area of tropical plantations, mainly tea. Kandy is both an administrative and religious city and is also the capital of the Central Province. Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic

To the Buddhists of Sri Lanka and the World, Kandy is one of the most sacred sites as it is the home of the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha. You will visit this wonderful temple followed by an upper lake drive. The Kandy Lake that was built by king Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1807 is one of the major highlights in the city. The upper lake drive is more scenic and memorable.

ea was first planted in Sri Lanka in 1824 at the Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya, when a few plants were brought from China. Your will spend an hour exploring the plantation and factory. You’ll see the sorting tools, the grinding tools, drying tools, and the packaging machines. You will also be able learn how tea is processed from shiny green leaves to the bits in your tea bag. After enjoying a cup of high grown processed tea, you will set out to explore the plantation to conclude your tour with the tea estate experience.
