Overview

This is more than a cooking class, we will show you a large botanical garden, a vanilla plantation, a cacao plantation, sugarcane mill and of course the cooking class with the locals. We will start with a lovely short hike is out properly to learn about the ingredients and history of our culinary culture with special focus on the medical herbs garden.

We then continue to our local home where we will explain step by step the cutting, dressing, mixing and cooking techniques used in Costa Rica to make delicious meals.

What to expect

Our cooking class will take you on a culinary trip, where you will be capable of learning the local cuisine techniques and combination of native ingredients and flavors finishing with an amazing lunch. As part of this experience we will take you to our 3 acres of Botanical Gardens surrounding our kitchen and show you and teach you about all sorts of local plants including cacao, madicinal plants and vanilla plantation.
