Overview

Masai Mara is a wildlife reserve in southwestern Kenya, known for its abundant wildlife and the annual Great Migration. It's home to a variety of predators, including lions, cheetahs, and hyenas, as well as herbivores such as wildebeest, zebras, and giraffes. The Masai Mara is also culturally significant as it's the ancestral land of the Maasai people, who have preserved their traditional way of life.
Lake Nakuru is a soda lake in central Kenya, known for its pink flamingos and diverse birdlife. It's also home to rhinos, giraffes, and other wildlife. The lake's high alkalinity supports the growth of a unique algae that the flamingos feed on, creating a stunning pink-hued landscape. The park's forested hills and waterfalls provide a scenic backdrop for wildlife viewing.

What to expect

Day 1: Lake Nakuru

    On arrival, you will be checked into your rooms and later a game drive at the beautiful Lake Nakuru national park.
    Have an evening game drive from 4.00pm to 6.00 pm.

Day 2: Masai Mara

    After breakfast you will proceed to Masai mara.
    Time spent on the road: 5 hours.
    You will have an evening game drive from 4.00pm-6.00pm
    The Masai Mara National Reserve (also spelled "Maasai Mara" and known by the locals as 'the Mara') is a large game reserve in south-western Kenya, which is effectively the northern continuation of the Serengeti National Park game reserve in Tanzania. Named after the Masai people (the traditional inhabitants of the area) and their description of the area when looked at from afar - "Mara", which is Maa (Masai language) for "spotted": an apt description for the circles of trees, scrub, savannah and cloud shadows that mark the area.

    You will then proceed to Jomo kenyatta International airport for your international flight.

On arrival in Kenya, you will be met by our company representative. Who will brief you on your safari.You will then be introduced to your tour guide who will take you through the safari.You will proceed to the amazing sight of Lake Nakuru with brief stopover at The Great Rift Valley view point.
