Saigon's Nightlife, Food Tastings and Local Craft Beer by Vespa

Our first stop introduces you to the culinary treasures of Vietnam, starting with a taste of the iconic Bánh Mì. This staple Vietnamese sandwich perfectly balances textures and flavors, combining a crispy baguette with aromatic fillings like pickled vegetables, savory meats, and a hint of chili for a slight kick. This bite-sized introduction to Saigon’s street food scene is just the beginning.

Next, we head to a local eatery for the main course, where you’ll have the opportunity to savor authentic Southern Vietnamese dishes. Options include the famous Bánh Xèo, a crispy pancake filled with shrimp, pork, and bean sprouts, served with fresh herbs and dipping sauce. Alternatively, you can try wraps and rolls made with rice paper, fresh vegetables, and grilled meats, or opt for a hearty plate of broken rice with grilled pork chop, a classic comfort food cherished by locals. Each dish tells a story of Saigon’s culinary heritage and offers a unique taste of the region’s flavors.

As the evening unfolds, we treat you to a quintessential Saigon dessert: grilled banana wrapped in sticky rice. This delightful treat is elevated with a drizzle of creamy, homemade coconut milk, creating a sweet and satisfying finale to the meal. The flavors are simple yet rich, embodying the comfort and warmth of Vietnamese desserts.

The tour concludes at a hidden gem—a craft beer shop nestled in a historic old building. Here, you’ll sample unique brews that highlight the burgeoning craft beer scene in Vietnam. The cozy ambiance and distinctive flavors make it a perfect spot to unwind and reflect on the evening’s adventures. Whether you prefer hoppy ales, fruity sours, or rich stouts, there’s something to please every palate. The beer, paired with the stories of the passionate brewers behind each creation, offers a refreshing insight into the contemporary culture of Saigon.
