Overview

On this full-day tour, visit the former sky resort of Chacaltaya, now used as a viewpoint from where, at over 5300 meters above sea level you can see the beautiful mountain range of the Cordillera Real. Afterwards head to the south zone of La Paz to visit the amazing Moon Valley, this valley has been slowly carved trough the ages by the wind and the water, forming amazing landscapes. You can take one of the short circuits and take in the amazing views.

Pickup details

Departure Point: Pickup from downtown area hotels and for those not in the downtown area the pick up will be in Maria Auxiliadora Church
Address: Iglesia Maria Auxiliadora is near the corner of Batallon Colorados Street and 16 de Julio Avenue (also known as EL PRADO)
Directions: For people staying in Sopocachi or the south zone there is a meeting point for the pick up which is in the Maria Auxiliadora Church between 8:30am-8:45am

Return point: Concludes at San Francisco Church, in the corner of Montes avenue and Sagarnaga Street.

  • Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
