Overview
We welcome you, your family & friends on this 7-day Rwanda wildlife, Volcano, Gorilla, Golden Monkey, and chimpanzee Trekking Trip. You’ll visit Akagera NP for a wildlife safari, Volcanoes NP for Bisoke Hiking, and Gorilla & Golden Monkey Trekker before visiting Nyungwe NP for a Chimpanzee Trekking and Canopy Walk experience. What to expect
Day 1: Kigali – Akagera NP | Boat Cruise Safari

Leave Kigali and start your journey to the Akagera National Park. You will on arrival go for a boat trip on Lake Ihema, thereafter return to the lodge and check-in. While on the lodge, you will feel the sounds of jungle since the lodge is in the middle of the bush and overlooking Lake Ihema. Overnight at Akagera Game Lodge or similar.
Day 2: Game Drive safari, Akagera National Park - Volcanoes National Park

After an early morning breakfast, you go for the whole day game drive experience, getting up close to wildlife in Akagea National Park, you will exit the park at Nothern Nyungwe gate & proceed to Volcanoes National Park through Byumba. During the game drive to the north of the park, you will go through different topography but the most interesting part of it is the Crocodile Swimming Pool & the Kilala Valley with a large concentration of wildlife as you get nearly to the Nyugwe exit gate. Day 3: Rwanda Gorilla Trekking Trip Volcanoes National Park

Early morning breakfast will be followed by a transfer to Kinigi Park headquarters for a trekking briefing and then a hike up into the rainforest to a troop of magnificent mountain gorillas. Each troop has its 24-hour guard, so their location is known, you usually have an hour with them, time to sit and observe them at very close quarters indeed. After the day experience return to the Lodge. Overnight at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge or similar.

Day 5: Golden Monkey Trekking, Volcanoes NP - Nyungwe National Park.

After an early morning breakfast transfer to the park headquarters at Kinigi to go for golden monkey tracking. These primates are beautiful, endangered & more agile than the mountain gorillas. They live in bamboo thickets on the lower slopes of the mountains – and tracking them acclimatizes you perfectly to the slight altitude, marking your last views of the park's environs, and this will be followed by a transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park. At 04:30am an early morning breakfast or order packed breakfast & this will be followed by meeting with the ranger guide & then transfer to Cyamudongo & or Uwinka visitors center to begin with chimpanzee trekking and subsequently there will be a canopy walk that starts at Uwinka visitors center and then return to the hotel after the day experience. Day 7: Nyunge National Park - Kigali
