The Chiarkhota lagoon is a beautiful lake with crystal clear waters located in the royal mountain range, approximately 4700 meters above sea level. It is surrounded by towering snow-capped mountains and is known for its natural beauty and its proximity to Huayna Potosí, a peak popular with mountaineers.

Its blue waters reflect the snowy mountains that surround it, creating a dream landscape. The serenity of the environment, together with the clear skies and fresh high altitude air, make it a magical destination.

Hotel pickup begins at 07:30 am, otherwise the meeting is in Plaza San Francisco at 8 a.m. and a 10 minute wait time is provided.

Upon arriving at base camp, we will make the one-hour walk to Lake Chiarkhota, which is full of Andean nature. Along the way, you'll pass beautiful wetlands, small waterfalls, and see local flora and fauna, such as llamas, vizcachas, and high-altitude plants, all surrounded by stunning views of the mountains.
