After exploring Mogao Grottoes, we proceed to Singing Sand Dunes (Mingsha Mountain)—a 20-minute private car ride away. Renowned for its unique natural feature: when the wind blows over the sand dunes, it produces a low, melodious humming sound like singing, hence its name. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by the magnificent and boundless Gobi desert scenery—golden sand dunes stretching as far as the eye can see, contrasting beautifully with the clear blue sky. Optional activities are available here at your own expense, including camel riding (a classic way to experience the desert), sandboarding, and hiking to the top of the dunes for a panoramic view of the desert landscape.

Here, you can stroll along the boardwalk beside the spring, admire the clear water reflecting the sand dunes and green plants, take photos of this rare desert scenery, and learn from your guide about the geological formation and legendary stories of this magical spring.
