Overview

It is probable that the ancient Egyptians had a sense of history. Karnak Temple, for example, was built 5 millennia ago and has been in use throughout time as people have found new uses for it. The Hypostyle Hall here is one of the largest chambers in any place of worship on earth - even now with all our technology we can't produce anything like it! And while you're there marvel at Luxor temple which contains some truly breathtaking pieces from antiquity including sculptures by king Tut's hand himself and works carved by Alexander during his conquest to conquer Egypt over 2 thousand years ago.
