   We buy your ticket (included, of course) and you board the monorail.
   
   As the train departs, you feel the moment it glides through the building’s structural core. Look out the window – you’re passing inches from residents’ balconies and living room windows.

   After lunch, we walk two minutes to the shallow, crystal‑clear creek that runs through Pianyan Ancient Town. Locals have been beating the summer heat for generations – by putting tables and chairs directly in the running water.
   
   Your experience:
   
   A mahjong table is set up right in the creek.
   
   You roll up your pants or shorts and put your feet in the cool water.
   
   A local teacher shows you the basics of this classic Chinese game.
   
   Tea and snacks are served to your “floating” table.
   
   Not into mahjong? Just sit at a riverside tea house, dip your feet, sip a cold beer (available for purchase), and watch the world go by.
