Day 1: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

   Pick up from your hotel in Arusha or from Kilimanjaro International Airport and proceed for lunch in Arusha Town. After lunch drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact caldera in the world. Its enduring charm stems from its overwhelming physical beauty and the abundance of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor for Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 2: Explore Ngorongoro Conservation Area

   After breakfast, depart for half-day tour of the crater floor. Return to your lodge for lunch.
   Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at at your lodge.

Day 3: Drive to Serengeti National Park

   After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro conservation area, undoubtedly the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world, unequaled for its natural beauty and the greatest concentration of plains game anywhere. En route visit the Olduvai Gorge site of archeological findings, where traces of pre-historic man dating back to 3.5 million years ago have been discovered. Arrive for lunch at your lodge. Afternoon game drives until sunset. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 4: Explore Serengeti National Park

   All day spent in the Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. transfer to Manzo Mgumu in Mwanza for overnight.

Day 5: Transfer Mwanza

   After our early morning breakfast, we shall drive through mgumu to mwanza where we shall board a ferry to bukoba, then mutukula and drive up to Lake mburo National Park where we shall checkin to our accommodation and retire after a long day.

Day 6: Game drive and Horse Riding

   After breakfast in the morning, we shall proceed to the wild to look for the different species inhabiting the wilderness, return to the lodge for lunch, relaxation and go for horseback riding in the evening.

Day 7: Game Drive

   Early morning breakfast and head to the bush for a game drive, After the drive, we head back to the lodge for a hot lunch and then after check out and drive to Bwindi

Day 8: Gorilla trekking and Batwa experience

   An early morning breakfast, after, report to Bwindi headquarters at Buhoma sector to the North. You will be orientated about gorilla trekking regulations, assigned a gorilla family and the actual trek begins from 8:00 am. Trek through the dense rainforest, search for mountain gorillas with butterflies, other mammals, birds while on the way.
   Today’s experience will last 2-6 hours and after you have met a gorilla group, the park official will let you spend 1 hour with gorillas while maintaining a distance of about 10m. Retreat after observing mountain gorillas in the misty forest of Bwindi have lunch. Later, go learn, interact with the Batwa pygmies who are said to have spent 500,000 years, and explore different cultures, traditions, and lifestyles.

Day 9: Transfer to Entebbe

   Check out of the lodge after breakfast and then drive back to Kampala or Entebbe via Mbarara, Masaka. This will mark the end of 9 days safari.
