Overview

This walk situated in Machico, an easy path along the levada where you will see some locals along the the way going about their everyday tasks such as maintaining their land and animals. At the different times of the year an abundance of flowers can be admired

What to expect

Nice easy half day walk situated in the north east part of the island. A 5 km walk that will take you into the everyday life of the locals living along the way. Beautiful views over the valley of Machico city. A stop for a drink will be made at the end of the walk.
