What to expect

Day 1: Transfer to kabale and visit Great lake museum

    As early as 4:00am will hit the road for Kabale,you will be briefied about your 2 day tour in the kigezi highlands. You will go though Masaka, Mbarara to Ntungamo with a stopover at great lakes museum a long Ntungamo-kabale road on Rwahi hill.The museum preserves and promotes the history of the surrounding tribes likes of BAKIGA, BAYANKOLE, BANYWARANDA and BAZIBA. After an 1 hour of relaxation and guided visit at the museum,we continue to kabale.
Day 2: Morning drive to Kisiizi falls and caves

    After breakfast, you will enjoy an early drive to Kisiizi water falls lying in Rukungiri district boarding Kabale.The waterfalls are 30 meters high on Rushoma river that pours in Lake Edward and its historic caves were kigezi girls were punished by the early ealders of the kigezi kingdom. Later return to kabale for relaxation for an evening treat in kabale town.
Day 3: Drive to Lake Buyonyi and island retreat

    After breakfast, we hit the road for lake buyonyi along kabale-kisoro road. On arrival you will enjoy a nature walk or lake hiking before jumping into a boat to sail to itambira island to check in at Paradise Eco-hub and later return to the inland for lunch at Lake Bunyonyi Resort hotel and evening relaxation & bonfire at the lake.
Day 4: Lake Buyonyi hiking and return to Kampala

    As lake buyonyi breeze washes your face, you will enjoy breakfast before a cruise through the islands of lake buyonyi enjoying a magnificent view of the hills and lake hiking with a visit in local communities and craft centers. Later have lunch on on land before return to Kampala.
