Overview

Explore Brazil's two great passions: soccer and Carnival. This tour begins with a vibrant stroll through the Maracanã Stadium, where you'll visit the Hall of Fame, the locker rooms, the press room, and the pitch. Then, immerse yourself in Carnival culture at the Grande Rio warehouse, one of Rio de Janeiro's largest samba schools. Discover the making of floats and costumes, and watch a video that tells the history of Carnival. Try on parade costumes and learn to samba with a "passista" (a profesional dancer) finishing with a caipirinha, the traditional Brazilian drink.

    We will visit the City of Samba, where we will enter the warehouse of one of the largest samba schools in Rio de Janeiro, Grande Rio, and explore the backstage of the greatest show on Earth, Rio Carnival. We will learn about the history of Carnival, see how floats and costumes are made, watch a video about the history of Carnival, try on this year's Carnival costumes, dance samba with a professional samba dancer, and finish with a caipirinha, Brazil's most famous and traditional drink.

    We will explore the interior of Brazil's largest and most famous stadium, visiting the museum, the players' Hall of Fame, entering the locker rooms, giving an interview in the press room, and going onto the football field and stands to complete the experience and take photos.
