    Al Hamra Old Town is one of Oman's best-preserved historic villages, known for its striking mudbrick houses built into the mountainside over 400 years ago. Wander through narrow alleyways lined with traditional multi-storey homes, many still standing after centuries. The village offers a glimpse into old Omani life, with restored houses open to visitors, traditional wooden doors and windows, and panoramic views of the surrounding palm groves and mountains.
