Made up of red sand stones, this fort was built in 1565 AD by Akbar the great. Red fort is a blend of Hindu and Persian architecture. Every inch of wall has a story to tell. Once a military structure, it was revamped by Akbar in 1571 into a qualified fort. Alluring palaces and elegant gardens were constructed. It was once a gilded prison for Emperor Shahjahan. We then visit Baby TajMahal.

It is an architectural synthesis of Hindu and Islamic building traditions.
